Saas GiraasÂ
Â
Three breathwork exercises. Practiced for centuries. Quietly, steadily producing powerful outcomes in the physical body — while at the same time drawing the practitioner inward, toward the rhythm that has always been moving beneath the surface of daily life.
To practice Saas Giraas is to begin to hear yourself. And eventually, to master what you hear.

The Source
Â
According to the Udaasi tradition, Saas Giraas was introduced by Guru Amar Das, the third Guru of the Sikhs — a lineage of origin that carries its own weight and intention.
It is distinct from the pranayama of yoga. Where pranayama works with breath as energy, Saas Giraas works with breath as structure. Rhythm here is not incidental — it is the very instrument of mastery. Through precise, structured rhythm, the practitioner develops command over breath, and through breath, command over time itself.
Not control. Mastery. The difference is everything.
